If you feel like you're struggling and not making progress, here are some helpful tips:
- We recommend approaching each dimension in a progressive way. For example, if you are comfortable with Rhythm, start rhythmic exercises in the Intermediate module, and gradually progress to the Expert module from there. Let's say however, that you feel less comfortable with Melody, then start at the first star of the Discover module for your melodic training.
- If you are working on an exercise in a given branch and you get stuck, we recommend that you don't force yourself. At Meludia, we believe that ear training can be fun and shouldn't feel like an obligation. We recommend you always go at your own pace. If you're stuck, simply move on to a different star or branch and come back to that exercise later.
- If you only get 1 or 2 points in an exercise, keep going! This will help you develop your listening skills and complete these exercises with 3 points at a later time. Once you feel more confident and at ease with the exercises, we strongly recommend you go back and obtain 3 points for all exercises in order to reach 100% in each Module before going on to the next one.
- We recommend training 20 minutes a day, at least 3 times a week. Users with recurring and regular practice have experienced the best progress, results and benefits. Using Meludia for more than 30 minutes per session may increase the risk of cognitive overload.
We hope you find these tips helpful. In the meantime, we wish you a great training experience with Meludia!
